As long as I can remember, I have been influenced by the culture of cool. As a boy, I modified model cars and made drawings drawn from the hot rod language of the 40's and 50's. That stream got crossed with four years in Japan and I was forever altered. There is an inherent transgression in assimilation. No longer purely this or that, something new occurs.

That is the intersection where I now stand.
